Review of the Standard Issue Battle Saber v3

I have just got my first ever light saber, witch was the Standard Issue Battle Saber v3. I ordered it with a violet amethyst LED and a UE blade. The first thing I would say is it was shipped on the same day I ordered it witch was amazing! The colour is a very nice purple that goes all the way through the blade nicely. The handle is very light, as is the blade. It is weighted very nice and in the little time I have swung it about it feels very nice in my hand and very easy to spin. Even though the handle is very plane it still looks very nice and could be easily customized if wanted. The handle is 11" at the front and 12.25" at the back. Its total length with the blade in is 46.5". The blade is at a central balance at just over 11" up the handle which allows for a very nice feel and movement. The only complaint I have with it is that there is only one screw holding in the blade at the back. and due to the fact that the front is a lot lower down it down wobble a little due to this, although i would say that it is still secure.
Overall I think this is an amazing blade with a nice ability to customise and nice feel. It is a perfect blade for anyone who is looking for there first saber or looking to build up the arsenal of sabers with one that is easy to use and able to be customised.
I hope that this review has been useful for anyone looking for this saber or just looking for any saber. This is my first review and if I have missed anything out please let me know and I will see about adding it in. Also pics will be added when I have some free time.

A fine choice, and a great review. The nice thing about the Standard Issue hilts is that they're simple but incredibly sturdy. They have just enough style to be attractive, without sacrificing any duelability. Great color too, Violet Amethyst is one of the best fits for that particular hilt IMO.

I was looking for a review of the Standard Issue. I am looking to purchase a Dark Standard Issue v3, but I don't want to run into the same issue I have with my Overlord. While I love it, it feels very large in my hands. I'm looking for a single handed saber.
Would you say that the Standard Issue is suited more for double handed grip, or can it be effectively handled with just one hand?

Yes the saber is perfect for single handed combat due to it being very light and where the balance of the blade is. Although it is long it does not feel it when using it.
