Hi, all! I decided to make a topic where people can just talk about their day. So what did you do today? I went out with my mom and sister (dad's on a business trip). We bought water guns and balloons and got each other wet for this hot day. Then I taught my 8- year-old sister the basics of kinda just smacking sabers around. It was some real bonding time. She knows what a lock up is now.  We made a video. LOL. What about you all? |

Woke up.... Made my wife breakfast, drew her card. I traced Shae Vizla onto a card and wrote "For the Mother who does it all!" lol Had Demitri "Sign" it... put the pencil in his hand and let him take off with it... Kid's got better hand writing than I do. lol
Gave my wife her Mother's day present from me, and then went to go tell her Mother happy Mother's day lol. Then we went to Red Lobster... but the wait was ridiculous so we 86'd that plan and went to Outback Steakhouse... MMM bloomin onion. Then I went to my job at the church. lol.
Yesterday was my B day... so Mother's day usually overshadows that... which is cool. I just don't consider myself to have an "age" lol I did get a killer TOR shirt from my wife, and SWTOR from my Kid!!! Still have to get a computer to play it, but I have the game now!!! Which is awesome. So I had a killer B day, and then gave my wife a decent mother's day lol.

I woke up, took my dog for a quick walk, then I made my parents breakfast and gave my mom her mothers day card. After that I played City of Heroes for a bit, got to level 16, and I got off (I was NOT level 1 when I started playing today, mind you). I went outside and practiced fencing. Went back inside and caught up on my comics. I'm reading "The Flash DC Archives" right now. Then I helped my dad with yard work. Then we went to Red Robin for dinner. I saw my friend there and we goofed off When we got back home my parents surprised me with a present, which was the CD, "Switchblade Serenade" by the band "Sister Sin". I'm rocking out to it right now. I love this band so much. |

I finished Assassins Creed Brotherhood...
I had planned on doing stuff with my parents this weekend, but a funeral manged to throw a wrench in that. I thought about dropping by on Sunday, but a 2 hour drive each way is a little much for a single day...
Though I did send her flowers and chocolates!

My Mom went and did laundry, like she always does on the weekends. I was gonna do it for her, so she didn't have to on Mother's Day, but I had to go to work. Then I got home and I joined the rest of my family in doing pretty much nothing. I wanted to take Mom out for dinner, but she insisted on ordering Chinese....

We went to Joe's crab Shack, came home and drank margaritas, then watched A Bit of Fry & Laurie.  Before we can over my dad to my mom to see the Avengers which she thoroughly enjoyed. |

well im at work today, but yesterday we took my 2yr old to the kids amusment park just outside the city for his birthday.
he did not want to leave lol, ive never seen him so exausted at the end of a day before

What I have done today, so far, is relax (Mondays are my days off) and watch Resident Evil and Extinction.
You, sir, earn a point for time well spent. I woke up very early as usual, warmed up, hitting session, worked out, physical therapy for my screwed up arm, ate food throughout. Second hitting session to come then a match, instruction, food, and presumably something amusing at the end of the day such as watching a movie with the gf (who has pretty much the same schedule). Tennis is a lifestyle, whether I want it to be or not  |

So I started off this morning with my workout... Then I went to my Astronomy class... then I went to my film class...
As I'm walking to my classroom... I get a text... "Our final project is due today!" holy crap... I didn't do a final project for my film class... Seriously... at this point I have a sinking feeling in the bottom of my stomach... I'm royally screwed at this point.
I walk into the classroom... late... as usual since I've had my son now lol, and the teacher looks at me and asks me... "Do you have a paper or video to present to the class...
Me: Why yes I do... It's an instructional video...
So it gets to be my turn to present, and I pull up the video on how to post lightsaber videos...
It quickly turns into this... Screw the project you fight with lightsabers? (mind you I carry my lightsaber everywhere)
The teacher even was having trouble not getting sidetracked by my video... The video was supposed to be 5 minutes max... My video was 9 minutes so I cut it short at about 6 minutes... Someone asked what the last 3 minutes were... I told them it was me going ballistic with a lightsaber... They demanded that I show the rest of the video. So not only did I pull my final project out of thin air... It was a hit. lol
All in a days work.

Haha thanks guys! I'd say the lightsaber is my ace in the hole... but, let's be honest... my blade is usually the first thing I go for lol!
My blade has gotten me out of quite a few jams like this...
Not to mention it gets me free stuff.
