ok so like i mentioned before in my video review of my graflex ce from ultra the activation box on the hilt is not the original one that Anikin or Luke have on the legendary graflex. i thought i could get use to seeing it like that.....but its not going so well so i went over to park saber and sure enough they have the activation switch im looking for however the activation on my graflex is the illuminated one, i know how to solder wires and know somewhat about wiring but id like some advice on how to do this. ive posted pictures below of what my graflex looks like and pictures of the parts i want to use from parks saber... basically i know that the parks sabers switch probably wont light up like the ultrasabers one but i want it to turn and off and have the clash effect will someone give me some pointers it would be extremely appreciated

As seen in the picture below this is the stock ultra saber with their version of the activation box

In this picture we see the park sabers activation box which i want to install ***one note however is that the "bubble" switch on the parks would be switched out aswell for one that looks more original which parks also provides>>>>>
As by the dimensions of the ring it will fit on my ultra sabers graflex Smiley BUT unlike this one which is not round all the way, the ultra sabers ring is ive already taken the screws of form the switch just to peek Any idea how to take the ultra saber ring off?Huh? ANYONE WILLING TO HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED WITH THIS PROJECT

The black card is the one i want to install instead of having the "bubble" one

Unfortunately the parks switch isn't compatible, it's not even close to the same type of switch as ultras. However TCSS has one that should work, but in my opinion the graflex looks best with the ultra ilum av switch.

Ninja has a good point. Check out box style 1 at tcss, there you can also get a black card. Removing the mounting screws on the stock switch box and removing the box itself and replacing it with a new one would be safer and easier than attempting to remove the whole sleeve.

thats one of the things i noticed as well, when i took the screws off the activation switch i noticed that id does slide BUt most likely im going to have to remove the grips so that it will slide off, the grips i think are glued because i dont see any screws on them so that wont be hard ill probably reheat the glue and slide them off , i use to do this with car logos they are glued to and by applying heat to them they would slide off

the grips are actually going through the saber, they are not glued on. ultrasabers glue something onto their sabers? not going to happen. i think they are inserted from the inside. they are not coming off.

OK so after visiting TCSS ive realized that it would be much easier to just switch out the activation box from my graflex and leaving the ring now however i have another little problem, instead of the black card which i originally planned to use i now wnat tou use anikins ROTS card i found one at pastor jedi's site but i was wondering if anyone else knew where else i could find that kind of card <<<<al always thanks in advance

In all honesty and I hate being a negative Nancy but if you want Anakin's saber or Luke's saber you would be better off just getting a MR and having it converted by Ultra. Ultra's graflex is just that, His version of the graflex saber. However that being said if you still want to change it, go for it. Just so you know it will however be a challenge but if your up for it then more power to you.
