Kath Hound Costume?

I had a cool idea the other day, what if, once my character costume is put together, I could get a cool Kath hound costume, with horns and armor, for a dog as a sort of add-on to my own costume? of course the dog would have to be trained professionally to have good con-behavior, but would that be allowed inside a convention? If so, I would do it, not only for this, but it would add to the list of reasons that I have always wanted a professionally trained dog.
so, saberforum, what do you think? are In-Character Pets the next "thing" for costuming? I hope so.

From what I've seen, most con centers wouldn't let you in the door with an animal unless it was for seeing eye purposes or some other such disability aid. However, I'd bet most of them wouldn't have a problem with you being out front with your cospet. Of course, depending on if you get more fun from the cosplay or the actual con, that might not be much up your alley. *shrug* My 2 decicreds of experience for what they are worth!

well, maybe I could become friends with a blind person, and they can have a Miralukan costume, and that would be that.

Why not literally dress up as a Kath Hound costume only in your size?
Heck, I just saw some Japanese video about a guy dressed up as a velociraptor scaring people.

yeah, well, I'm not Japenese, and I have dignity, so, no.
 but yeah, what other, dog-sized pets exist in the SW universe? I like to have options, and I wouldn't want to put too much strain on a dog's neck with horns. I'm sure I could get them made of something light-weight though.
