First time buyer of an Ultrasabers unit and so far so good and happy with my purchase.
In fact, so is my wife who keeps whacking me over the head with it lol (She loves the clash flash and the sound as the heavy blade smacks against my skull lol)
The unit I got was the Overlord, RGB with master switch, Blue AV switch (which I believe replaced the "master" switch), and of course RGB Flash on Clash.
What I'm trying to figure out, is how to use the "Master Switch"/ "AV" switch.
When I press it, it seems to go into a "LOCKUP" mode, as if in a steadfast clash with another light-saber and neither is backing down.
Pressing it again, disables this.
Is this what I should expect or am I using it wrong lol
No instructions were in the box, and I couldn't find anything on the help section or on the forums that detail the Master Switch's use.
I purchased this Saber for use at the up coming comic and sci-fi convention in my area in November - David Prowse (Original Vader) was supposed to be there, but had to cancel due to health concerns from what I understand (although his last minute replacement is YaYa Han so I'm still stoked!).
I'm going as - what I believe to be - a unique character. Alternate dimension Obi-Wan Kenobi.. A Sith Lord version of Obi-Wan! Kind of a cross between Obi-Wan Kenobi meets Anakin skywalker right after joining the dark side/pre-vader transformation. Add a few cosmetic battle scars, and a raider-ish face tattoo to complete the look.
If anyone is interested, I'll post pictures of the saber, the costume, and the convention, and guests once done at the convention.
Also - I'm replacing the emitter on the Overloard to something that would make it look a bit more sinister - thinking of going with the Dark War Glaive Emitter with Claws. My cousin wants to see it with black claws, but the silver claws also looks awesome too.
I have to order this like asap so that I get it in time.
Would love to hear your opinion on which I should go with
