Review on my awesome new saber.
Overall: 4.5/5 stars
Received within about a week.
Great saber, great quality, everything I could've hoped for,
batteries rattle a bit and one blade tip has detached on two separate occasions within two days of opening.

Hi.  Glad to read that you are enjoying your stunt sabers.  You could get some extra Velcro to place around the battery pack.  Also putting a self stick round pad on the inside bottom of both the coupler and the pommels will help cushion the battery pack moving up and down.  These are used mainly on table or other furniture legs to prevent scuffing the floor and can be purchased almost anywhere including dollar stores.

Gorilla glue or tape will keep the blade tip on.  Suggest you view the video where Emory discusses securing a blade tip.  Go to main US site and to the videos on left side of page.

Here's a photo showing the pads on a coupler to give you a better idea.   Smiley

Hi again.  I missed looking at your video.  Nicely done.  Just a few extra things to add after seeing it.

1)  You should take the Velcro strip apart and not try to pull it over the battery pack.  That way you can determine how tight or looser you want the fit to be.  Will help with the pack rattling.  Just don't go so loose that you will have trouble taking out the batteries from the hilt.  I realize that you are holding a camera or phone.  I found some of the cut Velcro a bit short so got a roll that I could cut the length needed.

2)  Losing a blade tip is not all that uncommon for many blade suppliers but not a regular occurance.  Some members have success with Superglue but Gorilla brand gel glue is the best.  From your video it looks like you have applied a thicker amount.  Suggest trying to remove these two layers and starting fresh.  Only need a small amount as per the video.  Best result is to thoroughly let it dry and set for approx. 24 hours.

3)  It is important not to show an unobstructed lit LED in a photo and especially a video.  Too hard on watcher's eyes.  Always put in a blade plug.

Will give you a forum appreciation point once you let us know if you are drawn to the light or dark side of the Force.    Smiley

Thank you for all of the help. I will be taking measurements and replacing glue as soon as I get back to my house.  I chose not to purchase blade plugs, so until i make some myself, I will just avoid pointing them at anything, especially cameras. I consider myself more of a grey jedi, but I will always fight for the light.
