I was wondering if anyone knows if you can put a non sound saber and a sound saber together to form a staff? Also can the ultra edge heavy grade blades with stand heavy contact?

A staff will work fine even if only one end has sound. The end without sound may not trigger the sound effects as often, but otherwise it'll work fine.

If you're intending to take part in regular dueling, either type of heavy-grade blade will work fine.
