I ordered an Aeon V4 with V3 Archon with the d-ring, but I was sent the regular V2.1 Archon pommel without the d-ring. I would like to be able to carry the hilt on a belt, so I want to add the ring but don't want to mess up the pommel.   Any suggestions for doing this?  Is there a certain kind of drill bit that I should use?  There is not a lot of material to drill in to, so I want to make sure it is done right.

I used a regular drill press and a bent steel rod (as the D-Ring). Just choose your material and make some test holes in a piece of wood to make sure you have the right sizes for everything. Good luck and let us know how this goes for you!

For Reference, My Arbiter with D-Ring can be found in my customization thread here: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=27134.0
