So I'm completely new here, so bear with me if I'm asking stupid questions lol. I just got a stunt guardian blue dominix LE V4, and I'm in love with it. My only issue is I was really let down by the brightness of the blade. How would I go about swapping out the single LED with a Tri Cree in the same or a different color?

If you have quick disconnects, just get a new LED module and put it in.  Otherwise it will require some electrical work (soldering) or sending it back for a replacement LED for Ultrasabers to install.

As for your question, ithekro answered your question perfectly. However, Guardian blue is a fantastic color without Tri-Cree. If you have standard setup (4xAAA) I'd recommend putting in a fresh set and if you have a Li-Ion setup, charge your batteries.

This is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY easy, even for beginners. You only need the basic makeshift soldering items, like a scissor, some soldering wire, electrical tape/heat shrink, and a solder. Start by cutting the black and red wires at the same place, separating the LED from the rest of the lightsaber. Next, just get the new Tri-Cree LED and pair the black and reds together. Solder the matching color wires to each other, and then use electrical tape or a heat shrink. Just put it back in, and it should work. Good luck! Smiley

Here's a really good tutorial for adding quick disconnects that I used, it has some good pictures for references: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=16431.0

In the process of thinking this through now with my DAv4

I believe you need/want to add resistors per led die or you may blow them out. Resistors or buckpuck. Not sure if you need to have the resistors specific to the power cell. Working on figuring that stuff out now myself.
