This was my first double sided lightsaber from UltraSabers. I am very pleased with this saber. It is simply two initiate blades put together with a coupler. The saber also comes with two pommels so that you can wield them separately, if you like to dual-wield, or share them with a friend. I was worried that this saber when attached with the coupler would come loose or unscrew itself, but I have not had this problem. The blade length that I chose was initiate, which is only 24 inches long. Although I would say that it is not too short when used as a staff, I would still recommend getting 32 inch blades unless your under five feet tall, or a small child. The staff is really agile and light weight. With the blades being so short, there is not much wobble when you swing or fight with them and the entire staff feels very sturdy and strong. Even used individually, these two initiates are very quick and strong, and handle nicely.

The hilts are awesome, very simple and sturdy. I would recommend wrapping the battery packs with electrical tape as always. These are really exactly like the Aeon hilts, except just a little bit shorter. My friend attached a 36 inch heavy blade to this hilt, and it still handled relatively well. I wouldn't recommend using long blades with this hilt. Even for dual wielding two Aeons would be better than two Initiates. All in all this is a great hilt, I will probably buy another one just because they have the full UltraSabers experience at a really good price.

The colors I picked for this staff were Guardian Blue and Consular Green. These two colors are SO FREAKING BRIGHT. The blue is brighter than the green, for sure, but at a quick glance they are almost equal. If brightness is important to you, go with Blue hands down.

These are great sabers. I definitely would recommend spending the extra 10$ for the 32 inch blades, but the colors are beautiful. I thought that it would be lame having a staff with two different colors, but it is actually really cool!

Nice review, man.  And yeah, I agree that blue is always brighter than GREED.  Just noting.  They look great.  I'm surprised that such a short hilt handles well with a 36 inch blade.

It is definitely manageable. Even the prophecy is no more than an inch longer than the initiate. So they both handle similarly with a 36 inch. I feel like the 36 is too long for even the prophecy. Using the initiate (and the prophecy for that matter) with a 36 inch blade is not ideal, personally, I would rather have a 32 inch. But when it comes down to it, if you need to put a 36 inch Heavy Grade in an Initiate hilt you will still be able to duel with it.

Those are very nice.  I have to say, the Guardian Blue and Consular Green are two of the brightest and best colors IMO.  If you're looking for a crazy bright saber, I always say go for that.  Thanks for the review!
