pvc battery support for stunt sabers

This is not a aesthetics mod to make the saber my own, but to keep the 4-aaa battery holder in a stunt saber from bouncing around and holds the batteries securely.  I used a 1-1/4 in. x 6 in. PVC Solvent Weld Extension Tube from a supply store, chopped off 2 1/4 inch (the wider part) and used the rest to hold the battery holder. It's a very snug fit and to remove the batteries I need to use a rubber handled screw driver as a plunger to push it out of the pvc, but in my archon v3.1 & Initiate v4 it doesn't rattle.  Note: these are shorter hilts. I have a Aeonv4 empty hilt on order which I have internals on, so I can compare and see how the pvc will work too. Hope this can help people who dislike loose batteries in a metal hilt rattling around.

Nice fix. On stunts I just use the rubber piece that comes on open end if the blade. Just side it in the batteries. But the PVC looks easy more sturdy.

Received my empty Aeon V4 and the part of the hilt that hold the battery/sound board is roughly the same length as my Initiate LE and Archon 3.1, so the pvc battery support would also work. I can't use the hilt though, because when made, they left a ridge inside the hilt that leaves too little space for my electronics (from another online retailer).

Oh well, live and learn. Guess I can use the Aeon for my contact paper experiments, with clear heat shrink.
