Yeah I was meh about cult. Roanoke had some things I enjoyed but after a while I was ready for it to be over.
I liked apocalypse.
This one I like so far. A lot of 80s nostalgia which I always enjoy and its got the whole campy horror movie vibe going on.

I have tried watching 3 or 4 seasons and could never get into them. But I did watch 84 tonight. What made me start to watch it was the 80s vibe. They clearly have taken their cues from Friday The 13th and Halloween and no telling how many more before it's over. May sound kinda weird considering our is a horror show, but looks like it is going to be fun to watch.

I started watching AHS with Season 3 "Coven" I thought that Season 4 was abysmal but I actually liked Season 5 "Hotel" Season 6 I just couldn't get into but Season 7 "Apocalypse" I enjoyed. That said: I have to say that I am VERY interested in AHS: 1984 because it's STRAIGHT from my childhood. I remember being scared about Richard Ramirez (aka "The Nightstalker") especially since my room was the ONLY one with a window to the front of the house. But the real treats are the blatant '80s fashions, tech, and music; almost pitch-perfect nostalgia for me  To quote Tx: "it's going to be fun to watch"  |

For me season 1 (Murder House) was ok.... S2 (Asylum) was a bit better. S3 (Coven) was good, S4 (Freak Show) had its moments. S5 (Hotel) was the best Imo and really showed Lady Gaga's acting ability. S6 (Roanoke) had a good premise but dragged. S7 was just plain.....stupid. Haven't seen Apocalypse yet or the current season.

Pretty much how I feel except I have never seen murder house but know the story. |
