new saber use

My wife has physical problems that wont allow her to duel with me and the kids so I got her a nerf gun I haven't managed to deflect one yet but she's greatly enjoyed paying me back for some of the things I've pulled on her over the years!!!!


Don't know if anyone else has tried and its alot harder than it looks but it sure is fun

I return 120+ MPH serves on a regular basis....

Anyways, it is kinda hard (deflecting darts with a saber, not returning a first serve) but I've done it on multiple occasions. The only thing that makes it difficult for me is the temptation to do the fun thing and try to actually HIT the missile rather than letting it hit the blade.

Every time one of our members gets a new nerf gun, it becomes Soresu Appreciation Night. Ironically, best defense I've found is to just keep the blade infront of you, dead center line.

That's pretty much it. Swinging looks cool but is only effective if you have telekinetic powers.
