I love the phantasm, but that's just me...  Also sink tube fits right over the thicker areas of that hilt... so if one was inclined one could do some wicked shroud work on their phantasm.

I'm with you on the Phantasm Lucien, I love mine, and it looks sexy with the vented coupler as the connector:)  I would like to try it with 24" blades though...just to see what it would be like.  Ahh well, another thing to put on my next order:)  It's already sitting in the shopping cart, just have to get the cash;)

I'm six foot and have the phantom (dark version of the phantasm)... it's a pretty comfortable height for me. If you're shorter, then the initiate form of either might work well, or just put initiate blades in it instead (they'll cut about 16 inches of the total height of the saber).

I have the DSI staff, and I love it.  The 32" heavy grade blades work nicely on it IMO.

Well I am 5'7 so I think I might need to get 32 inch instead lol and I was just going to get another Liberator v2 and a coupler but I dont think they sale that one anymore.

I'm 5'9'' and I use the standard 32'' blades on my phantasm... Brings the whole thing up to just about 6' which is the standard length for a Bo staff that you would use in most Okinawan style martial arts systems. It's very comfortable for me, but I trained with a bo for many years... so that may be from that.
