The Big Bang Theory :D

So.. Since there is Only fights with sabers.. I wanted to give an idea how you maybe could use the force in your duels! Cheesy
Its quite simple.. and maybe a specialized form of Lightsaber battle..
You can change the rules maybe a bit by your likings..! Smiley
I will start with the preperations

~What you need is:

-3 balls for every person (doesn't matter what sort of balls, they should be that small, that you can wear them with you [In a pocket or even in the hand])
--1 Lightsaber of course per person Tongue

~What are the rules?

-Every person contains 10 Healthpoints
--You lose 1 healthpoints, whenever you get hit with an "Force-Attack" or when you get hit with the saber on the leg or the arm.
---You lose 2 healthpoints, whenever you get hit with the saber on the Chest or the stomage.
----You lose 3 healthpoints, whenever you get hit on the head with the saber.

-Every person has 3 balls, that can be thrown (be careful, when you use hard balls) at the enemy.
--The enemy can dodge, parry or as well catch this ball.
---When catched, he is able to counter-attack with your force. So be careful!
----The enemy can disarm you, trough landing a hit on the hand or the hilt with either an kick, punch or by hitting it with a ball. (disarm means, the person throws the saber in the direction of the enemy)
-----When disarmed, you can as well try to get your saber back.. or you dodge and hit the enemy with an punch on the hand, that will disarm him as well.

-When someone loses Health, a new round starts.
--The saber is given to the original owner.
---The force isn't restored (so you can't spam it on the enemy just to win).
----You have 3 uses of force in the whole battle.

Hi.

You know, I can see potential in this game.

It's something that my lightsaber group might want to do. We already have one game that involves batting around a balloon with the lightsaber. If you get hit by the balloon you are out.

We also do a blocking game with someone shooting a nerf gun at us. Lots of fun.

Thanks for the idea.

Cool.  I'll probably end up tweaking the rules a bit to fit our personal styles, but overall it looks good.

One addition that must by all means be added:

--If a duelist lands a solid stab whilst entering an awesome pose, they win the duel automatically.   Cheesy Grin

This sounds like a cool idea. It would be awesome to have a little wrist mounted NERF gun with three darts. I might have to look into this.

Um... I'd like to specify no head shots unless you got some SERIOUS safety equipment. That being said, I do a points duel I call Guardian Rules sometimes. We go to seven and hand out a point for hilt and arm to the shoulder, two points for legs, and three for the torso to include the shoulder joint. We also allow for what we call continuance, meaning that the sabers path is understood to continue due to its immense cutting power, so if an arm shot would continue to the body or leg, you get the higher point value as long as its really obvious. We don't have any mechanism for adding force powers to our duels at this point, and I'm not sure I want to add them for live sparring at this point.

I block around 50% when Nerf is flying at me, by the way...

This sounds really fun! Sorta gives lightsaber dueling an objective and way to draw others in who might not be as enthusiastic as yourself. I'll try this with some of my friends as soon as I get a second saber! Cheesy
