I should post a pic of my girlfriend and make you all jealous. She has really pronounced curves and a beautiful, slim body. Unfortunately, she thinks I'm cheating on her with another girl, who is a bit hollow upstairs, if you know what I mean. She is also a bit more round. They are both very similar though. For instance, they both have six strings and over twenty frets each.

I'm so jealous. My girlfriend only has four strings. Though she has twenty four frets, and is taller.

My baby (AKA first guitar) is this old Squier Affinity Strat model that they discontinued (according to the original owner). Everyone thinks I'm a hippie because I use that instead of a more high-end guitar. I'm just broke. So join the hippie guitar club, Manny I still love my baby though. We've been through so much together....

I know what you mean, mine is a Kay that I actually got off my Mom, who bought it in the 70s as a discontinued model by Kay, before Kay sucked. Unfortunately I can't play it, because the Neck is coming loose and needs to be repaired. It also needs a new case, and the Bridge replaced. It suffered an un-needed bridge replacement years before I got it by a music store that was restringing it for my mom, and had never seen an adjustable bridge before.  But seriously, it is the most blatant hippie guitar you've ever seen. Funky shaped pick guard with flowers on it, flowered strap, crappy case. It's all like, psychadelic, man..... *que lavalamp effect from that 70s show* lol

And to get back on topic, it's the guitar I was playing when I met my GF, so that's sorta why I'm obsessed about keeping it, even though I barely ever play.

Wow. That really is a hippie guitar You should look for a good luthier and get him/her to set it up for you. They will always do a better job than those guys in Guitar Center.

But yeah, back on topic

When I was still with my ex, we were having dinner in this small Chinese restaurant. I had arranged for my friend to bring over his acoustic guitar (I didn't own one back than, only had my electric) towards the end of the dinner so that I could serenade her. I started playing, and the guitar was horrendously out of tune. That was the most embarrassing moment of my life, I think... Well, not anymore, since we broke up, but it still ranks up there, lol.

I gave my friend so much crap for that afterwards.

This is what happens when I'm bored and get to sketching random scraps and doodles. lol Thought I'd throw it up in here, since it's a cartoon sort of based off general memories of our early relationship. With some artistic license taken (she never went to class in a sparkly dress and crown LOL), and the human-bumble bee hybrid is just sort of there. I sketched him before I did the rest and he was in the way, so I just worked him in.

So yeah, I really did used to drop books while talking to her in class. lol
