Today I was processed and swore into the Army National Guard!!! It has been a long day*-* but worth it!!! I was going into intellgence analyst, all my test scores far exceeded the minimum for that, but the timing didn't work out. Now my M.O.S. is I'm going to be an M.P.!!!!!!!!!!! I am really excited! I will go to college and be in ROTC are my other future plans! Been accepted and everything, no so muh bragging rights as I am honored and so excited!

I hope you had as much fun as MEPS as I did. Timing was your issue? You can always try and wait for your job open to up, My Recruiter found a time when my M.O.S. was open. Plus I got to stay home for the holidays |

I almost went to MEPS once. A couple of days before they decided I was medically ineligible(due to a condition I disclosed). Never tried again.
But hey, congrats. It seems like you're quite excited.

Heard any stories about MEPS? And you could always go to MEPS but most Recruiters don't want to drive you down there if you cannot make it anyways. |

My recruiters took a whole group of 7 on a two hour journey and we stayed in an AMAZING hotel all for free! you guys must have some not so cool recruitersXP

I got to go on an hour drive where I stayed in a Hampton Hotel with free food and entertainment (PS3's, Bumper Pool, Computers, TV, etc) with free breakfast and dinner. MEPS is a horror though. My hotel experience was awesome. My MEPS well you know |
