Ok I went with the Initiate V3 , in GB , INitiate blade, Should have gotten the quick charge port,
THe Hilt and blade are phoenominal. My roomate was bitching when I ignioted the blade and he bitched about seeing stars for several minutes after!
THe brightness of GB with a mid grade blade is just WOW. SOund with just a regular vented pommel is BIG ,,,Huge sound comes out of this thing. The dogs tried attacking it, only ot be fended off by a saber weilding fat dude!!
The second saber is the dark catalyst with sound, blazing red. I have read how truly blazing this color is,,,the forum posts do not do either color justice.
Sound on this one is slightly less that the iniatate.
Both hilts had a nice feel and balance. I prefer the lenght of the Catalyst. It had a smoother feel for me.
THe Initiate felt good, however the ignitor button on the next one will be moved towards the pommel. I will go with a longer emitter and pommel to aded a touch more lenght allowing for a full twohanded grip. On this saber I went all bells and whistles FoC, Obsidian board, Quick Charge ( best option ever )
I will have some pics up soon the quality is going to suck because i was more interested in playing with my new toys than I was with pic quality.
Also keep in mind these3 sabers were out together for my daughters. So I did a few things to each to gain a better perspective on My saber Coming January 2012 to a thread near you!
