Creating Crystal Chambers build/Input thread/material ideas/sources

Nope, I'm going all natural and then I'm getting a bright led light to shine through it. I like the imperfections. I've seen made ones that are perfect like clear glass and it's not what I'm looking for. I don't really want man made crystals, died, grown or a thing else that's not genuine. I'm actually thinking of using some genuine round machined crystals. I have been doing some reading on Krayt dragons and I want one that represents one of those. They vary in size from real small to the size of s mans head. I'm probably going to use a 1/2 inch sized one. They are a little difficult to find. I have some coming in the mail.

This is my first attempt at a mostly completed crystal chamber.  I'm thinking i need to get some smaller nuts on the back of it.  Not the Krayt Dragon one that I want to make, but still a quartz crystal. I have no idea how to get it wired and  into a saber.  One step at a time I guess.

Here is another attempt I did of doing a crystal chamber.  This one is of a 1/2 inch machined genuine quartz crystal with all the flaws and inclusions which I love.  These are difficult to find, most available are see through like glass and lots not even original that I don't care for.  This is to represent a Krayt Dragon pearl.  Jedi's sometimes used these pearls in their lightsabers.   Krayt Dragon pearls were very sought after and can range from a pebble to the size of a mans head.  Han Solo got one and cashed it in as an entry fee in a game winning him the Millennium Falcon.
