I'v already been screwed by e-bay. Bought one for almost $800. It didn't have all the parts to finish it. To make things worse the seller was a jerk and said it was my fault that I lost the parts. I replied: maybe you should ship me the hole kit. I reported him to e-bay but they didn't do anything. That ordeal made me want to falcon punch that moron.  I hope he steps on a lego! |

I've done some work with selling things on ebay, so I'll just say there's a myriad of things that could have caused your problem. (kit missing parts from the factory, kit missing parts from seller, kit missing parts from shipping, etc, etc, etc....) And believe me, I've bought enough legos to see all of those happen. lol The best thing I can suggest is google around to find some of the Lego groups and clubs, I'm almost certain that you can either find the whole kit for sale that way, or else buy just the parts you are missing and complete the one you have. (likely the cheapest solution) Those groups are out there, and generally very friendly.
Also gotta say, I just love that itty bitty Tantive IV! lol

The model is over 3,100 peices and is over three feet long when built. If you're not that into lego, then it's so nto worth it that it's unequivicobly apalling. BUT, if you're into lego, this thing is a masterpeice. It's worth every penny. |

Oh. That actually makes it easier to justify paying that much for it. That's pretty sweet. I wouldn't have the patience to put that together though. |

I have the (8099ISD). It is nice but it seems to be missing something. its not the same as the (10030ISD) I had. Maybe because it doesn't weigh twenty pounds when assembled. Unfortunatly I lost the 10030 a few years ago when hurricane Ike decided to destroy the first floor of my house. its probably still in one piece though as I super glued it together when I built it.
