Got me a first tunic set from Across The Galaxy being made finally. Should be in December 2nd. The wait time sucks though x.x But excited either way to finally have MY own tunic set. Went for more darker earthy tones than what you usually see all the time. Will post pics tight when the tunics get in

I have a question to ask about tunics and robes.  The pictures I see at Twin Roses and Jedi Robe America show tunics and robes with sleeves ending mid-way down the individual's fingers or completely covering the hand.  I asked both Twin Roses and Jedi Robe America if that is the proper style and fit for tunics and robes.  Twin Roses hasn't answered the question yet.  Jedi Robe America gave this answer.

I've noticed that the length of the cloaks/robes sleeves vary slightly by manufacturer (I purchased a Sith cloak specifically for the over-sized hood and sleeves that cover my hands completely when by my side).
Ultimately it's a matter of personal preference, although, the film characters appear to have their cloaks longer than their fingers.

Regarding the tunic; most, but not all, tend to end halfway the fingers extended when down by the side.
I remember reading somewhere that the tunic/wardrobe sleeves trend shorter/less flowing the more the character is likely to be engaged in combat as they are less restrictive. Also, if the character wears gloves or forearm armor, the sleeves of the tunic and cloaks tend to be shorter in length and/or less flowing as well.

My tunic sleeves are shorter as my wardrobe includes items/gloves worn on my forearms/hands.

I agree. Most Jedi robes take on a more monk-ish appearance. Wear as Sith robes tend to have a more practical/tactical design based on a need to not get in the way of the inevitable scrap. But it also serves to better show off your stylish armor. 

When I got mine, the sleeves were ridiculously long. When I had them hemmed back by half, they barely revealed my hands when my arms are at my side. However, when I brought them up, as shown here <<<, they exposed the perfect amount of armor, IMO.

I was thinking about this the other night actually thinking about my new tunics coming in. Jedi's have always had an Asian/Monk appearance with their clothing. Tunics being Asian appearance and robes being monk looking. Just a thought on that =] Just for kicks I'll pose with my real katana sword I have too when my tunics come in

I placed an order for the Obi Wan Kenobi tunic set with Jedi Robe America.  USPS tracking says it should be delivered tomorrow.  If I do get it tomorrow, I'll do a photographic review of the tunic pieces.  I had a lot of uncertainty about buying a tunic set because the descriptions were rather incomplete about what the customer is buying.  I asked Jedi Robe America a lot of questions which they answered, but until I see the tunic set, I'm still not quite sure about all the features and how well it will fit.  So for the benefit of others who haven't decided yet whether to buy a Jedi costume, I'll do a review with photographs that show the features of each piece and how it all fits together.

Not sure what you consider "authentic" and I  thought I posted this (click > CosplayTailor store < click) here in an earlier post, however, I don't see it.
Peruse the "Luke" options for something that may fit what you desire. If not, perhaps you should consider commissioning a designer to make something specific to your taste.

I have a dark brown Jedi robe from Jedi Robe and it definitely covers my hands. I love it to bits. When my tunics come in tomorrow I'll do a picture with my robe on with my hands by my side to give some ideas. I highly recommend their robes though for an authentic feel and look =] And that doesn't cost you a bunch either. And no they're NOT rubies made either, she also told me that for a few of my other friends were curious about that too

I am going as a sith to my theater I work at but I am having a horrible time trying to find pants that well fit me. Found some but they wouldn't ship to Kauai.

I am 6'4 6'5 depending on boots I wear and I am 320 pounds.

Would anyone help me out with this.
