The part that tapers is the pommel, which you remove to screw on the coupler.
If you end up getting that please post pics, that'd look wild. a deep navy blue would be a cool saber, but I don't know if that's realistic, you can't have dark light unfortunately... (thinking about black saber) Oh I will, don't worry. If I can find a proper camera that is... |

I would love to see an amber-yellow, and a reddish orange. I'm working on a cosplay idea for the 75th anniversary celebrations for the Golden Gate Bridge, and a red-orange saber would be sweet- same colour as the bridge!

Is it possible to get a teal colored LED for a blade? I mean as teal as the words I write.
When I get around to building my first custom (which could be a long while) that is the color that I want, or rather there really is not any other color that I want.

I may be thinking unrealistically, but it might be possible to tweak blue and green LED's to get it. Hmm..... |

I have seen some black blades. They aren't that bad. Only problem is I dont think they will be very bright. The blood red sounds good. Any chance for a pink saber? I know my wife would love it and a couple of female friends of mine would also love one.

I got 2 sabers in SRD since the summer and they're both a seafoam green color. Looks really cool with a copper hilt!
