I think a Phantom Initiate would work for using one handed quite well. It's only about 5'2" with initiate blades.

I twirled around the pvc phantom and it was quite heavy. I might order a metal phantasm to try that out. Or to have 2 awesome Aeons since i sport Jar'kai better than staff combat.

Hey Ultra, you guys thinking of looking at the different types of hilts in the Star Wars universe? Maybe giving some expanded universe fans some lovin? I know there is a lot out there, but maybe getting a couple of ideas and having a poll?

The Bane is based off Darth Bane's saber in the comics. I agree and wish they'd do more of that. Dang it, I want my Bastilla Shan saber staff!

What I would really love to see for a new one hand hilt is the saber Anja Gallandro had, with the crazy elegant basket guard on it! That would be COOL! And fairly original, I mean, how many people do you see around with sabers like that?

Back to topic, the prophacy is only about an inch longer than the initiates, and all that is is the slanted emitter, so ideally they are veru similar in size (perfect for an in between initiate/padawan apprentice... aka my little brother, but I actually use it more than him). I would LOVE to see new initiate/single hand hilt designs, a nice wakizashi sized saber, possibly designed for both front handed and back handed use in mind... *cough cough*  |
