Case inflections is when you apply various suffixes to the word depending on what case is it used for. For example, the Russian word gorod (town).
Nominative case: what? A town (Gorod).
Genitive case: of what? Of a town (Goroda).
Dative case: walk across what? Walk across the town (po Gorodu).
Accusative case: to what? To town (v Gorod).
Instrumental case: with what? With a town (s Gorodom)
Prepositional case: about what? About a town (o Gorode).
When you call people things, you use the nominative case, for example "blah blah, chelovek" (blah blah, [you] human). When you talk about something unrelated, you use the prepositional case, for example "o blah blah, cheloveke" (about blah blah, [and also about a] human).

I've settled my question of where to live and left my quiet Russian countryside town.
Nowadays I live in a town in Moscow Oblast, with hot water, sewers and all other possible amenities.
I've received a crash course in survival and will most likely survive if World War 3 happens.

I am in my second year of survival training, and it has been a real eye-opening experience.
I learned quickly that I was unprepared before if a natural or man-made disaster had occurred.
