So just how strong is a Heavy Grade blade?

So today I was hanging out with my friends, I handed off one of my dominix with a heavy grade blade to him and we started fighting. Yesterday we were going at it at least 15 minutes. It was a lot of fun! We got each other good a couple of times, one of which was square in my knee! That was the first time I had an "actual" battle with someone where we were able to keep the blades clashing for more than two seconds.
Today we were doing it again, when I realized just how strong the Heavies are! You never fail to amaze me US!

Our blades were clashing so loudly, it could be heard in another room down the hall. He rushed me, and I duck when I should've dodged, and got the tip of the blade square on my head, then follow through with hard blow to the nose and arm. My nose swelled up and started bleeding. I got good welt on my nose now. Everyone around thought I had a concussion and a broken nose as I sat there stunned for a few minutes. I'm fine, but it's funny to look back at. My first battle wound! Cup of coffee and some ham fixed the pain!   


So what battle scars have you received in your many awesome battles, and the story behind them?

I own mostly HGB's and one MGB which we don't really use much anymore. Don't have any actual physical battle wounds. I was messing around in my bedroom and wasn't paying attention and nailed the light fixture on the ceiling. lol

Also, imagine how your friend might have felt watching the tip of his saber jam into your eye socket.

Ricos: I smashed my light as well. Except that the blade wasn't in. I live in cubicle and me being six feet tall doesn't help. I wasn't doing anything crazy either. I slowly spun the hilt over my head, tapped the light and all of a sudden it was raining glass!

Vornach: As it was my first real battle, it never really occurrd to me. I definitely will in the future though.

My husband Pindragon broke a HG just by dueling. Though he hits like a freaking train.

For us we don't do any actual dueling as far as being technical with forms or anything yet. We just smack them together for fun. But regardless if its for fun or actual dueling...Even with those cheap $35 lightsabers from Walmart. There is a level safety we must take and be aware of are surroundings.

In the beginning we are a little careless. But that is human nature. Hopefully we are all smart enough to learn from past mistakes. And have fun above all!!!
