Rough day

Just a thought, but if it's possible, why not invite her to the appointment with you? Even if she's just in the waiting room outside, or with you if you prefer / it's possible, being there will probably help her some. It lets her know she's supporting you by being there, which is really about all she can do not being a medical professional herself (I assume). Speaking from personal experience, I know the three most important things to me when a loved one is hurting or has something wrong in their life are as follows:

1) The loved one is / will be okay.
2) That I'm giving them the support they need.
3) That I'm DOING something to help.

Usually... number 2 and 3 end up being the same thing. And while I can't say for certain, I'm betting that if you could tell her and talk to her about the worst case scenario type stuff, it would be a comfort to you too to have her there.

Aside from that... best I can say is if you've got any faith / beliefs... go towards them now. My faith is what gets me through the day. I'll cut there to keep within forum rules, but if you want to pursue that line of discussion feel free to PM me. I enjoy such talks.

I have talked to my mom about everything thus far. As far as her going to my
doctors appointment, she wouldnt have it any other way. I know she'll tell my
sister. She wouldnt want to be in the waiting room by herself... I know my sister
will show up as well. I just dont want my niece or nephew to know.

I'M BACK!!!  With a whole new outlook on life. I'd like to thank

Thanks again guys. I went to see the specialist last Friday, he said it was
worse than what my doctor reported and said it would best best if I stayed
at the hospital to get all the nessesary tests done to see if my body could
handle being under for surgery... And there were a lot of tests.
From what I understand there were a couple complications during surgery.
The only thing I remember (ha I was out cold but I remember) smelling
bananas.
Before I found out I had an aneurism I bought 2 sabers from US. The Guardian
& The Consular with all the bells n whistles minus FOC... They arrived here
sometime when I was in the hospital.

After surgery was over and when I woke up it was late, dark outside. My nephew
was standing at the side of my bed with the Guardian on, he powered it down.
Uncle are you awake, set the saber down, ran out of my room screaming "hes
awake".... everything else is just fuzzy. They kept me there a day after I had
surgery to make sure everything was ok.

I'm really glad everything turned out okay, man.  That's a lot to handle all at once, and...  well, to keep it simple, I'm really glad.  I can't even imagine how great it must have been to see your nephew standing there.  I probably wouldn't have been able to keep my composure, I'll be honest.

And hey, you got two sabers for yourself as get-well gifts!  That's a pretty awesome thing to come home to.  You know, on top of waking up and everything.
