Hey guys, I was watching Blue's review of his EG reaper raffle prize, and he mentioned that the claws had a bit of a knuckle duster image about them. Now I got to thinking, the top claw wouldn't really function as one protruding up from the end of the emmitter, but what if it was turned around. I had to remove the shroud, and ended up scuffing one of my blades quite badly in the process (the holes for the claw screws weren't chamfered enough on mine) but this is the result:   |

OK I really like that, it would be nice if your fingers could actually fit through like brass knuckles but the holes look too small

 thanks Blue, you deserve a point for being my muse on this occasion. Like srams said it would be great if the holes were big enough to use properly though, as it stands I can just about get a finger through the largest one |

Nice but the screws issue makes me not want to buy one. I shall look for another Sith sounded saber. xp Nice Reaper though.

Im told the issue isn't on all of them, just a few where they don't sit in properly. I guess it depends on if you want to risk it

i ordered a 40 " blade for my reaper,ill have to cut about 5 inches off it to remove the very bad scratches the screws made,i have drilled [countersunk]the holes more to stop them doing it again,its the same for both claw holes[blade holder and pommel]not countersunk enough,it was an easy fix,but dissapointed and cost me a 40' blade |

The scratches on mine are just down one side, and are fortunately hidden by the longer side of the emmitter
