Here are my most recent two sabers. I am currently working the lore around them. Basically they are both sides of yin and yang. Both being derived from Dragons having claws around the emitter. The Dark War Glaive in Emerald Green is my Dragon of Light Saber Full Pics here: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=13543.0The Custom Manticore in Bane's Heart is my Dragon of Dark Saber Full Pics here: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=13602.0They come from my central Jedi Ideals of Balancing Dark with Light, being two brother Dragons of opposite sides in harmony. I made them Identical in saber length, and tried to make the colors be contrasting yet complimentary.    How do you all like how they turned out? |

I'm not a huge fan of clawed sabers personally, but that custom Manitcore looks pretty damn nice. And conceptually I love where you're going there. Fits right in with your grey alignment. Now if only it would let me give you light and dark points...
It would be interesting to get see them with a coupler as a staff. Could make for a very nice story and/or video.

^ I tied the staff, but the issue is that the manticore is slightly longer in the body making the saber as a staff asymetrical and throwing the balance off.
As they are now, the weight and length is identical with the two pommels.
I didnt think I would like clawed sabers either actually. I got my Raven thinking it would be my only one. Got the Malice on sale and then loved it. Got my Dark War Glaive on sale and Loved it too, then made the Manticore Custom. Now I have every clawed saber but the Reaper. I may get the Reaper, but I prefer a symmetrical design over it's asymmetrical one claw design.

I feel these should be dual wielded only with each other. You might want to use the 32" blades in these bad boys! Awesome choices for contrasting colors too!

Those look great, Sky - I never fail to be amazed at how inventive the forum can be. I wouldn't have thought of pink and green together at all, but they look great together.
