Mixed feelings maybe, but you would have a really spiffy looking saber.

As for Form II, well, I think the best thing to do is try to base your knowledge off of fencing. Well, at least the foundation of it. The thing about lightsaber fighting is that it is very different than your traditional sword fighting. One, there are no set rules or structure to it, mostly because they were mainly designs as looking cool in movies. Ep. II and III will show some of it, but that is because Christopher Lee was a fencer and Nick Gillard still wanted to make the fighting look cool. And two, a lightsaber really doesnt have any edge, which means trying to cut or slash with a certain point of the saber is easier, yet harder. But, with a form very similar to fencing, that could be used as an advantage. My best bet for tryint to become better at Form II would be working on your footwork and making sure you learn how to keep yourself grounded. Study how the footwork works in fencing, especially your fancy stuff like your lunges, they may help you. Also, I would say get used to using a single blade in one hand. If you arent use to it, you may tire yourself out, so start working on your arm and wrist strength. Also, Form II is more for precise cutting and strikes, so focus more on exact placement of the sword blade and using shorter cuts and slashes, very different than your hard swings and slashes. You may also want to work out a lot of retreats, which means learn how to redirect or counterattack against your opponent after they swing at you. Ex: Allowing them to make a hard slash while you back step, redirect or miss their blade, then follow with a strike at your opponent.
