I logged on for the first time in about a year the other day, and the update was quick - but I do have a fast connection. I prefer having the physical disk anyway, at least for new games. If it's on Steam (like KOTOR or Dark Forces II) then I don't bother, but to save on my bandwidth I find it useful. Installing WoW from disks on my wife's laptop, on the other hand...  |

Wait what? The game is only a 23GB install now, that is with the ROTHC expansion and all the addons |

I'm pretty sure it is a ~9GB download with expands to the 23GB install. You will be fine
Yeah but even that will take days, my average download speed is about 50kbs |

Yup...quality isn't it lol The original download contained a whole host of things that are no longer needed...uopdates have disabled them but not uninstalled them. |

I've downloaded about 3 gig and i'm pretty sure the first time patch is not 9 gig
