Favorite ship in Star Wars Universe

Ok, tailing off Rel's thread about locations, here's another one about which ship(s) you want.  Same rules.  You're you.  As you sit in the chair right now.  Not Imperial Intelligence. Not Jedi or Sith.  Not high ranking military or bounty hunters or anything.  Just you.

What ship would you want to buy in Star Wars?  I know nobody can pick just one, so let's call it 1 from Pre-OT, 1 from During-OT, and 1 from Post-OT.  That should give us all options. 

For me it'd be the following:

Pre-OT:

Mon Cal DeepWater-Class Light Freighter

Yes, I'd keep the Starwind for a long time.  The Falcon is still going strong more than 50 years after it was built, so there's plenty of precedent for it.

    Per your rules, I would like an A-wing fighter. I like the sleek, clean lines and general shape. I also like the red and off-white color scheme you usually see them in. I think it would be fun to zip around in.

YT-2400

It's a nice ship, I like it better than the YT-1300.

It's versatile, fast and small. Where the Falcon and other 1300's are a bit big and bulky, the 2400 is about half the size. And the best thing about any YT, without a doubt is it's customizability. No matter your purpose for the ship you can find an easy way to make it work and work well.

While I agree that is an awesome ship, you have to be Sith to have it.  Doesn't really fit with the line of thought.  But, alas, this is all hypothetical anyway.

Post OT: (and this is stretching it a bit) An Ugly. I would build my own Ugly, though it would be very pretty. See my Avatar image if you want to know what I'm thinking visually. She'd be, essentially, an X-Wing body, Headhunter Wings, A-Wing Engines, and an extra set of cannons on the fuselage next to the cockpit.

As for the OT itself.... do I REALLY need to say it? *sigh* Okay, for those who don't know me well enough, it's the X-Wing.

OT - YT-1930 (I would have picked the VT-49 Decimator, but that's an Imperial warship).

Good choice!

I was that close to picking that one or the CEC YX-1980 transport.   Decided that I liked the layout of the Starwind-class better.  Also, the YX doesn't have laser turrets.
