Warframe. (Ninjas play free)

So I have been playing this really awesome game for the last month or so and I like it a lot. It's called Warframe and you can play for free.

It's free to play, and while you can purchase "platinum" with real money so as to be able to buy things faster, everything except extra weapon and warframe slots are obtainable in the game thru "credits" "blueprints" and if you catch the right alert missions or kill the right bosses enough they will drop blueprints for things.

It's a really fun squad based PVE game with wall running, flipping, sliding, shooting, slicing, special abilities, customizations and clans. It's currently in update version 7.x.x but update 8 will be more clan based and you'll be able to construct your own clan dojo and spar with other members. I used to have my own clan but it was hard to get people to join and it was mostly just me and my cousin and a steam friend. So I joined another clan.

I highly recommend this game, it plays on most systems, is a small download, can be downloaded from steam or the warframe website and looks great. I totally don't mind trooping around and helping people level up.

The controls are a bit awkward at first, you've got your pinky trying to run (SHIFT) and control the slide/crouch button (CTRL). I have a Nostromo from razer so I just mapped it in a comfortable set up and went from there. I would suggest giving it a little time or remapping the keys until you find something comfortable. One thing I liked about the game is that they don't really tell you all about your abilities to slide or flip or wall run and you sort of learn them as you go. I'm actually used to using my pinky-shift to run -- I play a LOT of Borderlands, so that's nothing new to me.  I think my real issue was the mouse sensitivity.  I couldn't really find a sweet spot, as it was either sluggish or way too snappy.

I'll have to try and adjust settings some more.

the pinky running isn't bad, it's just a little taxing at times to try to be holding shift and then hit ctrl and then space to do a front flip. or to be holding shift and then space and then ctrl to do a flying kick. I spread them out a bit for different fingers and it smoothed it out for me and doesn't fatigue my pinky. before it was like trying to do pinky kung fu. lol. If you can adjust your mouse DPI outside of the game I think that will help. I play the game at about 800-1000 DPI. most other games i like it somewhere around 1300.
