I hope they will concentrate on the founding of the actual Rebel Alliance and not any precursor groups like the Confederate holdouts. Because I already have a headcanon for those groups and do not want it to be shattered.

Heh heh heh...they have been popping up of late...was searching for actual star wars rebels and found a cashe of these images...I left the Boba one off because one it was meh and two I find him meh lol. (ducks behind a speeder before the rocks dent my prized melon!) |

Cool. Other than Mace's freaky beard-braid, I think they're pretty good! I dunno that I'd like to see TOO many CW characters in the new show... but I'll admit there's one or two I'd like to see. Ventress and Ahsoka among them, oddly enough. They really grew on me in the last season and the finale just BEGS the question of what happened to them after the war. And a few appearances by Mara would just be sweet. |

It is, but I'm pretty sure these aren't likely to be from the studio... looking at the stuff on SW .com about Rebels, the art style is far more McQuarrie than it is TCW.

Not much I could find either via google-fu, but if those images are in fact accurate... wow.
That has to be Mace Windu.
That's gotta be Mara Jade next to the Emperor.
if this is real, man oh man, that could be cool.
beyond that, Star Wars Rebels is something I've been waiting for for a long time. I was one of those kids wishing Star Wars Episode 1 was actually what became Star Wars Episode 3. I was hoping we'd see Anakin fall, and then two episodes of Vader pownage.
Now at least we'll be able to see that. There's plenty of things I don't like about The Clone Wars... but I'll still buy the set. It's a series I hate that I love. And I feel them making those decisions in writing was a good call, trying to please everyone is just a FUBAR waiting to happen
If this is remotely as good as CW, I'm in.
I do hope it looks like Tron: Uprising. That'd be amazing! I'm already stoked about that show just given its concept
