I've been waffling between the Consular, Scorpion (without the hook), and the Overlord.
Consular won, it was DoD last weekend.  Zombie Green blade, yeah I know, I'm an eclectic sci-fi fan...

But I really like the windows by the emitter in the other two....might just have to take it to my friends machine shop.
Ha, already planning mods and I haven't even touched it yet - or any combat saber for that matter.

You could buy the Overlord emitter separately for $30.  Someone who knows more could probably tell you if it would fit the Consular.

The Overlord emitter will indeed fit the Consular, as will any MHS compatible emitter.

I did see that it was MHS compatible.  Another awesome tidbit of information I learned from reading forum posts...

But I can't order the alt emitter now, Since I didn't win, I figured fighting would be kinda boring - so I Just ordered my second 'grab bag' saber for the boy...I'll let the force choose his destiny.

Now, 48hs in, I'm already in for two, it's like crack....

I apparently don't have the temperament to Not Know what I'm getting from my raffle win. I'm already calculating odds on the likelihoods of what I might or might not get in my GrabBag. And I'm not likely to receive it (or the other two sabres I ordered) for at least a week!

Note to self: Never order a grab bag.

I find the mystery of not knowing what's coming in to be pretty cool myself.  I'm happy about my win (and I'm happy for everyone that won, and even for the others who entered because they are stilling getting the awesome sabers they bought!) I just hope mine is a non clawed hilt with any color blade besides silver, I don't get into silver or the clawed hilts much but anything else is fair game to me!  I'm really excited and very grateful to the US crew for doing these raffles, and they do more than one a year, this is like the third one they have done this year!

was worse for me, I found out before I went to sleep last night (that's different time zones for ya) and so it took ages to get to sleep coz I was too busy wondering what I won!!

That is a great idea!  If I get another Initiate or Manticore I might do the same thing!    Good thinking, you get a point, sir!

I think that they have been getting a lot of business this past year and really increasing the number of repeat buyers, one could assume that the more the business grows the more frequent and amount of winners will go up... It's a good time to be a fan of Ultrasabers!!! Can't believe it all started in his garage building for his kids!!! Keep up the good work Ultra!!! We're all behind you!

Actually I was saying that silver is the only blade color I don't like.  Like you, I prefer color to my blade.

Most of the claws are removable aren't they?  I kind of agree on the silver blade though.  I think it might be cool to try once, but I generally prefer some color. 


Just got my shipment notification, so by Saturday I should have 3 shiny new sabers.
I can't wait to see how beastly the Scorpion is in-hand.

I've mentioned before that I'm actually very fond of the scorpion, I love it's design.....except for the claw.  It looks out of place to me.  I'm more of a "light side" saber user, my blades tend to want to be in the blue/green/ violet area and that claw just throws the scorpion off to me.  now if I could get a tweaked emitter that didn't have the claw but instead had the window on both sides I would jump on it.

I just realized that both sabers that I've purchased are long and thick(ish)....I hope my raffle is slender, like a Reaper or something.
