I'm patiently waiting for my Diamond Renegade LE and Malice Emitter (40 inch bullet point midgrades and 6 inch side midgrade blades) I made up a poor man's photoshop of what I'm intending it to look like... roughly 28 inches (when I combine the measurements) from the bottom of the hilt to the top large blade...taking into account the blade going into the emitter, I'm thinking it'll be 55 to 60 inches long... a beast... just because MHS allows for it.  |

who's scruffy looking?
own: Dominix V4 GB, Sentinel V4 sunrider's, Aprentice LE V4 VA X2 (staff). Interesting MHS mashup. I've got the Malice already, so I'll have to try that when my Flamberge V2 arrives. I had some dueling fun today with the Malice and was reminded of the heftiness of that hilt for sure.

I'm looking for a saber with heft and style. This amalgamation came to me as I almost went with the Malice (but wanted a cross hilt saber more). I could also use the Malice on my Dark Mantis. I've always liked the emitter. Just looks mean.  |

My initial thought was.. "Wow, that looks cool!" Followed very closely by "I wonder how much that beast weighs?!?" I have 11 pounds of sabers (6 total) waiting for me at FEDEX, I wonder how many of those it would take equal one of this impressive creation? |

I'll definitely post some pics and a review. I've not seen a review of a Diamond Renegade (I'd searched here and on Youtube, figured I could do that too). Adding the Malice emitter just seems like a lightsaber claymore. I'm looking forward to it. |

Whoa, Whoa, WHOA! That's a step too far.  That would be bad-ass but it wouldn't work with the Renegade crossguard piece.

If you have a Renegade I will defer to your experience. But I was under the impression that the Gade had the same basic construction as a Flam. If so, then the claws are merely decorative. The guard is kept in position by the intersection.  |
