Which ones would they be and why? Here's my list, from least to most important:

5. The Dark Knight utility belt

Who doesn't want Batman's utility belt? There have been many incarnations, but this one is my favorite. Most utility belts are limited to a bunch of pouches or cylinders, but on this one you can configure it to a variety of different canisters.

4. Luke's ROTJ lightsaber

To be honest, there aren't many lightsaber designs I like; most of them are too bulky and look very hard to use. This one actually looks usable. Plus, I'll never forget when I first saw the green blade. That was the coolest thing!

3. DL-44 blaster

Easily the most popular blaster in Star Wars. I love it's rugged look, and the scope is just awesome, suggesting a long range capability as well as close range.

2. The Dark Knight grappling gun

I freaking love this thing, especially how, instead of having an internal mechanism, the cable is wound up using the front of the utility belt. This made it more believable to me because, frankly, a lot of grappling guns are just ridiculous (I'm looking at you, Animated Series Batman). It also looks very comfortable to hold.

1. Deckard's gun

Anything that's powerful enough to take down a replicant is something to be feared. I would feel like such a boss wielding this, and would be terrified on the other end of it! I love the design, especially the bolt-action mechanism and dual triggers. They make no sense, but look SO cool! I also love how it uses real bullets instead of being a laser gun, something not very common in futuristic weaponry. And, like the Dark Knight grappling gun, it looks very comfortable to hold. Why does Harrison Ford always get the best guns?

Those are mine, now what are yours?

1) Fremen Kris knives from the Sci Fi version's Dune movies. I've just always loved the design.

2) Glamdring and Sting from the LOTR/Hobbit movies, two of my favorite sword designs ever, plus elven made they are light weight and just awesome.

3) Millennium Falcon. Duh.

4) DL44 and Luke's Graflex saber. Two of my favorite movie props ever. Although it was a tough decision between the graflex and the ROTJ saber.

5) the Mini gun from Predator. Cut down trees. Nuf said.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some...I'll have to post more as I think of them.

Great thread idea! Here is my list...

3. Battle Rifle (Halo 3)
This is my favorite gun of all time. I love everything about it, from the sounds that it makes to the feel of the gun itself (I know, that sounds weird).

2. Astro Morpher.
I always wanted one growing up. Its one of my favorite morphers ever. If I could get one, I would totally wear it on my wrist every day, even out in public. I would feel like an absolute boss.

1. Mobirate.
What self-respecting Tokusatsu fan wouldn't want this? The Mobirate allows the user to transform into any past Super Sentai hero; Power Rangers as well, once they adapt this for next season. Its the ultimate henshin device.

I have more but most of them are Toku related, so I'll refrain.

By props we mean to say those props actually used in movies and TV?

Not items from anime, cartoons, or books...because those are not props...hmmm...narrows it down...

Ok...keeping the theme to items that could fit in my trophy room...

(in no particular order)

TARDIS

Telepod

Closet full of tribbles

USMC M41A Pulse Rifle

Hmmm, well apart from always wanting Xena's sword as a kid....(sad, I know)

TWO Darth Sidious Sabers like this!

Working models, with heavy grade duelling blades; you bet your arse I'd learn Jar'Kai technique, just so I could make use of them together!

Now why ya gotta go and do that?!  lol.

So for me, obviously, there's all the Star Wars stuff.  So I tried to think of things NOT in Star Wars that I'd want.  In no particular order:

1) Malcolm Reynolds' pistol from Firefly:

2) Riddick's Claws from Chronicles of Riddick:

3) Eleanor!!  (Of Gone in 60 Seconds fame)"

4) the Dagger of Time from Prince of Persia:

5) the Ballers (from Hitman):

And a bonus since Rel is a party pooper!  (j/k  Grin )

6) Frostmourne from Warcraft
