Man, I have to wonder how much it could cost to make a full sized RC Johnny. And how much more it would cost to make it (or at least appear to be) interactive.... That would be SO much fun to run around with Downtown. The drunks would FLIP OUT. lol

Nah, you take him to SDCC or Dragoncon. THERE is where people will freak out.

Hmmm that is a two part thought...

1. a RC (remote controlled, as in an operator) full sized Johnny 5...I would say a reasonable price range of $4,500 for materials and another $2,000 in labor...so no shipping considered, $6,500.

2. the same but interactive, assumed to mean reactive to people in some measure with voice options, sequenced movements, etc. without an operator (maybe perhaps as a back up)...the optics and sound system (receivers), the computer, etc. that would be another $8,000-$10,000...so no shipping considered, $14,500-$16,500.

Rough numbers of course...based on my research for my Battle Bots bid.

Technically, a prop would have had to be a prop for Titanic, or any other ship movie.  So you could want a prop as a prop.  Grin

One might also say they want the prop from any propeller driven aircraft as well.  Maybe from the Spruce Goose?!  Now that would be cool.

The propellers on boats are referred to as wheels.

Weird right?
