If you could be any animal living or extinct or any combination of animal parts to create the ultimate crazy monster what would you be and why?
I'd be a giant, 80 foot long squid with smaller squids at the end of each tentacle with like eight giant Pteradactly wings for flying in the air. I'd be a menace in the sea and air!
Or real animal, I'd probably be an eagle. They're just so cool. Or a Kodiak Bear, I just love bears.. from a distance!

Blue wale and Platypus and Tyrannosaurus Rex.
a hundred foot platypus with T-Rex teeth. Why? Because I an sure I could level Tokyo easily that way, nothing against the Japanese it is just that I am big on tradition.

Hmm id be a hideous Tentaclemonster as well but i will not level japan NO! i will start a film career there!   In reallive i believe i would be a Ankylosaurus if extinct or a blue Dragon if still alive. (they are just so beautiful!!!). |

Hmmm so many choices, wide open guidelines, what to do...what to do... In the giant monster theme...I would be a fungus, much like the Oregon Armillaria ostoyae which is thousands of years old and covers at least 2500 acres...I am thinking a slow yet deliberate growth to make contact with as much as the world as possible...then begin incorporating the other living organisms into the fold...in the end I would be legion. (thinking Lovecraftian here...thousands upon thousands of years...affecting dreams...the cults that support my existence...the slow creeping doom...moomomomomhahahahhahaaaaaaaa) ***** On the theme of smaller yet weird chimera creature...I would go with a ocean going creature, better to avoid men unless I choose to interact...flying would be great but getting shot at would blow...so I am thinking giant octopus + giant manta ray = cuttlefish looking kinda guy Maybe 40' tip to tip? ***** But the ultimate creature of imagination for me would be a superhero type guy with DNA absorbing and shapechanging abilities...so wings if I want them, tentacles when I need them, etc. In piece or whole, mixed together or all one type of creature. |

For mythical creatures, I would be a Phoenix.
For real creatures I would be a Dragon. (Too many cultures have references for them to not have existed)
For confirmed real creatures I would be a wolverine. Determined, visceral, and able to stand against all odds.

Oooh, here's a wonderful idea...
An amphibious wolverine, scaled up to the size of an elephant, with the proportional leaping ability of a cat, razor sharp claws, a flexible armored shell, the ability to throw quills with enough force to penetrate a two-inch thick tungsten steel plate, the ability to fly, and the ability to use thermite as a breath weapon.
Nothing on land, sea, or air would be safe.

Extant dinosaurs and pterosaurs are a somewhat likely explanation. However, I would never take widespread mythology as proof of anything. It is entirely possible that a single man made up a story and it gradually spread across the world. Anyway.... Well dinosaurs would likely not have been called dinosaurs. dragon is a far more likely term. So I agree with you there. However that would imply that they were still alive when people roamed the earth. Which I happen to believe. Lol |
