I made a small, (conspicuous) appearance in a friend's movie recently, and I thought it was too good not to share.

That was pretty entertaining. Even the cheesy effects were awesome haha, they remind me of old cheesy kung fu movies. And it was pretty cool seeing you cameo in full Jedi outfit haha.

Lol at first I was just going to be in the video, everyone saw my lightsaber and was like "you have to wear that in the video. See if anyone notices."

Then it turned into do you have your Jedi robes with you?

Which I did lol.

Yeah it was really fun, the bloopers at the end are the best

Thanks! We had lines, and then the camera turned on and we just kind of took off. It was a fun project, and the gentleman now wants to do a saber fight. So stay tuned, there might be some choreographed stuff coming from me at some point.

very very Naruto esque. But I half expected you to bring out your saber and attack them.

Lol that would have been hilarious. I thought about making some suggestions, but in the essence of time I refrained from lending too much creative wit.

You should have seen the scene when we did it though. My line was supposed to be, "Some sort of training exercise, but they're taking too long."

When the camera came on, we kind of just went in the moment, and what ensued was like a 2 minute improvisation. There was so much of that they wanted to include in the film. I started heckling them, it was ridiculous. The other extras were cracking up, the camera man was cracking up. I yelled "You guys suck!" at one point and my friend and his sparring partner started laughing. It was such a fun day.

haha awesome! was pretty cool, and so reminded me of old school cheesy kung fu movies. glad you had fun!!!
I love seeing some of the stuff that comes out of uni/ college work (which im guessing that was by the credits?) a friend of mine does amazing graphics work, while at uni he had an assignment to add an animation into a short real world video. so he had his car "turn" into a transformer, vault over the ledge of a godknows how many story carpark and run off down the road, was only like a 15 sec clip but it was pretty realistic. I got to see the different stages of animation, as he refined the transformers movement etc was so cool. he also created a world you could run around, felt like running around a cross between morrowind and oblivion graphics wise but in a forest next to a industrial area setting, he needed people to test run it which was great fun.

look forward to seeing more instalments! lightsaber choreography ftw!
