Thank you! I didn't document the process, but I can tell you what I used. I took an US blade plug and knocked the metal disc out, then took some opaque adhesive and filled the part of the blade plug it was in to block the brunt of the light. Then I took a rotary razor head and glued it on top, followed by a piece I got from a pack of gears and some steel contact tape around the edge. Ok guys I've been working on a 10w rggb ledengin set-up and this is what I've come up with that I like the best. It was kind of a pain cuz the two green dies are not next to each other so its More of a rgbg. I shot this vid in the dark ( ovously). Down close to the emitter is as close to the true color as my phone will take. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qWQb8W0zGbsThis second vid is as close to the actual color as I can film. Note its before I added the green for the flash. I was using red so it gave Me a white flash ( green + 2x 1w 1ohm in line resistored blue = cyan +w/ red for flash = white for flash) http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU7Q4PT_uQUBeing this looks mostly blue I figured the blue army was the best place to start  |

  My roommate and I went to the park today. I'm blue. (Note, the SW shirt...Possibly my new favorite...Stormtroopers sitting around Vader, in an homage to the Lunch Atop a Skyscraper photo) Come to think of it, every time I've posted a picture here, I've been in an appropriate shirt. Neat. These are just two of the 28 photos we took, which are now in their own album on my facebook page, in hopes to inspire others on campus to join us. |
