Dan Auerbach and The Black keys.

Bones and No Trace by MSMR.

Sometime Around Midnight by Airborn Toxic Event

The Heavy.

Queen of A Sad Land, Lamplight, and You Will Leave A Mark by A Silent Film.

Ray Lamontagne.

Jack White and all his bands.

I mainly listen to Japanese Rock music. One band that I absolutely love is FLOW. Their melodies are just so addictive and inspirational, and there is a certain quality to their music that is just beyond words.

My favorites are Flyleaf, Demon Hunter, August Burns Red, Fireflight, Muse, Hans Zimmer (does that count?), and maybe U2 (love their music, still not sure if they're one of my favorites). I also really like Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and Skillet, but to be honest I've gotten pretty tired of Skillet.

I also love Akira Yamaoka. He composed the music for most of the Silent Hill games. It's awesome.  Grin

Seconded.  They're all 3 really good.  Little known fact: all three are also Christian.

For some reason, I don't like metal as much anymore. Old bands that I used to love and be loyal to are just grating to my ears now. Most likely because I listened to them throughout middle school/high school and therefore they carry a lot of baggage and bad memories. *shrugs* And also because I'm not nearly as angry anymore.

Let's see, favorite bands:

Stone Sour
Godsmack
Seether
Alice In Chains
Volbeat
And the Gods, Led Zeppelin.

I've also been listening to The Offspring a lot lately.

Artists who I like everything they touch: Corey Taylor, and Dave Grohl.

Disturbed and the lead singers side project Device.
fav song atm is Device's 'Penance'.

I got to see Device back in May, they were great. Dave didn't disappoint, like I knew he wouldn't.

If you like them and Disturbed, then check out Fight or Flight. That's the guitarist and drummer's current side project, along with the singer from Evans Blue.

it woulda been great to see them live. sometimes it sux living in Perth, bands often don't bother coming West (if they come to aus at all). that and until recently I haven't been able to afford to go to shows, the fun of being a uni student. some locations in Perth also get shirty, and make bands stop playing at like 10 or 11pm coz of noise complaints  Roll Eyes
though I went to the Eagles a few years ago, and they were awesome. Hotel California, still an all time favourite of mine.

and also point for you sir, I definitely liked that song  Cool
