I know what you mean but sometimes I need the extra tactile push. This one became a must have as soon as I held it at the US booth at a local con. It just felt soo right in my hands, I knew I had to have it.

Only when I'm reverse gripping the hilt, haha. -3 for that I usually grip with my forefinger at the switch for down grip, and thumb at switch for up. I prefer the balance to be biased toward the blade. |

Makes sense. With the Bellicose, I had to grip it really close to the blade due to its different weight distribution from my Sentinel. With my Sentinel and my Ini (pretty much any V4), I grip it at the choke point either at the emitter (Ini and Aeon/Nix) or right underneath it  For spinning in Reverse Grip with my Sentinel, the choke point gives the saber a good weight distribution for me when spinning which doesn't feel awkward. |
