Defiantly Onward Into Uttermost Darkness

My creation is now complete; I waited a long time before dropping pictures of my first summer raffle saber because I had some big plans for it. But here it is, completed, "Caliban" in the fashion of a lightglaive.



Warglaive emitter w/ two claws, overlord body, yari extension, finished off with a dark cat pommel; this lovely is PERFECT for my style. I've always preferred axes, hammers or long shafted striking/scything weapons and this build feels sooo good to fight with. I'll need to buy a heavy 40" blade for it eventually, but I don't plan on doing any serious dueling any time soon, so it can wait.

I named it Caliban because it is half pedestrian saber, half monster. Shakespeare, son!!

Very nice!

Could have also gone for 'Prospero' as it looks like a magician's staff with the twin claws on it.

Nice! I really like the War Glaive with only 2 claws! Mine makes my saber have that "Black Knight" sort of look! But this spear is just awesome!!!

Good idea! Sadly it isn't quite long enough to be a true "staff..." Maybe an uber-wand?

However, you have given me the idea to paint "You Shall Not Pass" in Aurebesh on it.

Very cool! Cool A Guardian or Scorpion pommel would look good on it.
