I'm doing a paint job on my saber and man I'm dealing with runny paint 3rd layer can't figure it out ... After this last layer I just started to spin it and hold it until it dried
When I painted my parts it took 3 layers each layer needed to dry tacky, 15 to 30 mins depending the outside weather conditions. I recommend reading the instructions on the can. After the last  layer of paint I leave the parts hanging where there is no dust or anything airborne and air circulation to dry cure completely. It took at least 3 full weeks for the paint to cure and harden enamel to set and can be handled. I hope this helps. =)

Holy crap, that is BEAUTIFUL!!  Master Venturous mentioned this in another thread and I just had to see if there were pictures of it out there. 

I'm not usually a fan of white hilts, but this?  This is spectacular.

Great mod!
I am looking to do a paint job on my Guardian as well...
But since I would work on black part only (where the grip is) I was wondering if you could explain how to disassamble the saber.
