hi

i 've a little problem with my saber trying to connect with window 8
i tried changing my usb cable and everything
but apparently windows 8 does not recognise my saber anyone can help me plz

This might be stupid, but do you turn your saber on when you plug it in? For my Windows 8 my saber has to be on or else it doesn't recognize the device

That's true for all Windows versions - you always have to switch your saber on for recognizing.
But it might be that Win8 changed the driver composition so that not all devices will be recognized...same effect as in Win Vista Wink

in fact the problem come when i plugged my usb in front but the problem still exist when i plug it on the back
for the second i do plug my saber when it is on

Does Windows say that a new device has been detected after you plugged it in? If not, it really sounds like a driver problem to me...have you other Windows versions you could try?

actually after downloading windows 8.1 the saber is recognize i can change the parameters of the motion etc
but i cannot change the sounds in my light saber it says device configurations failed

That's good news! The saber is recognized! This problem should disappear if you connect the saber to the launcher as before, EMPTY the right side colum of any files that are there, (dbl click on them to remove them), then add the sounds you like to an empty set of slots. Try that to see if everything goes through. (Forget just one default file that's there, and you'll get the error... it's easy to miss, but works bomb if you catch it).
