Welcome to the review!First of all I would like to state that this is not only my first review here on Saberforum, but I belive the first review of a Monarch in Bane's Heart. The HiltThe Monarch itself is a very solid piece. To the point where you wouldn't even need the blade egnited to club someone to death with it.
As some describe, the saber has a royal look about it, and this could be wielded by the hands of a Jedi or Sith alike.
Out of all the Lightsabers UltraSabers offer, I think the AV switch suits the Monarch perfectly; and I went with a non-illuminated switch on mine.
It is easily the heaviest saber out of the three I own. But do not let that fool you into thinking that it is not a elegant weapon. It IS.

The interior is able to house QD's, but only just; and despite its apparent chubbiness it's actually narrow inside. (showing LED)
I have installed QD's on mine. See here for details: (Thread will be linked
here when up
)
PerformanceThe Monarch, despite it's looks, is easy to hold. The grip ridges fit perfectly into my hand; and the saber is well balanced enough for one handed or two handed combat with sufficient hand space.
I think the main advantage of this saber in term of combat is the confidence it gives the wielder when held. Because of it's rock solid materiel you can really swing this beauty around, and entrust it will not let you down. When I first held this saber, the feeling I got was
POWER!!!Fairly comfortable holding it close to the emitter.

Thanks for checking out my review! It wasn't as in-depth as I wanted it to be, but I didn't want to put you guys through too much reading.
