How to properly rip lightsaber audios off the movies?

So, I've been attempting to create my own custom soundfont by downloading a clip from youtube and editing out the saber sounds by Audacity.
Now the issue is that I can't separate the music from the lightsaber audio and the noise removal thing doesn't work either. (Yes, I've downloaded the music and set it as the noise profile.)
So I was like "f**k it" and hoped that it would come out fine once uploaded to the saber, but unfortunately it sounded as silly as my worst fear.

Does anybody know how to get this done properly?
Is ripping off from youtube videos a bad idea?
What are YOUR methods of creating a soundfont of a certain character?

I've been wanting to do this as well. I tried both the things you did. Wanting to make a Windu font same with an obi-wan Episode III font. Any info will help me as well. I've tried it with YouTube videos as well, just gotta find good quality ones. Might do the Windu when he fights Palpatine. Finally found a good video of that as well. Could try downloading the entire scene as an mp4 or whichever and then just take out the extra sounds then. I'm going to try that.

Hey. I'm looking into doing this today. I also use Audacity but when I try to open the "lsu" file Audacity doesn't recognize it. What do use to convert the .lsu file to something that Audacity can read?
