Hi everyone! I've found, of late, that I have become fascinated with the concept of the Jedi Temple guards! I don't know if I would go so far as to do a full costume, but I am interested in replicating, on some level, their weapon of choice; the Sentinel Yellow saberstaff. Any thoughts on which Ultrasabers saber would make for a good approximation, or your can message me privately if you have "other" suggestions.  Incidentally, if anyone knows where to get the mask from, or could make me one, PLEASE let me know! Here are some stills to help with the look.      Oh, and I just found THIS, which is a pretty awesome 3D render of the Temple Guard weapon.  |

That would be really cool. You could probably make a pretty close rendering of the costume fairly easily, too.
If you got one of those plain white masks and painted it, I think it would be almost perfect. The rest you could piece together with a hooded robe and belt.
I think if you break it down...this costume is easier than you think. I would love to see someone put it together.

I'll have to have a look for a plain white mask. I'm sure I could do the paintwork on it. I'm not looking for something identical, but in the style of, so I know I can allow myself the license to add or change things as needs be. Also with the weapon; I've been looking at the US Standard issue Staff, in yellow of course! |

I think with that saber you mentioned and a painted mask, people will understand what you are as long as the rest is sort of close. The saber and mask are the recognizable parts. The Standard Issue staff would be a good choice. You could even go as far as making an angled shroud for the emitted to copy the look. Good luck and glad to see you coming to the light side  |

I would say two bellicoses would cover the slanted - ness and the beefiness ...
Or two prophecies
Standard issue would be a third choice for me but still a good one

To get something from US that's close to what's pictured above, I'd recommend an Initiate staff with matching PVC shrouds. You'd get the thick and thing parts to the hilt, and you could even paint the PVC shrouds as pictured above. The emitter shrouds would also line up perfectly as they would be tailored to the staff.
