a friend and i are throwing around ideas for a fanfic and i wanted some continuity input.

1. does Luke Skywalker ever lose his ROTJ saber and if so what does his most recent one look like?

2. how do the Jedi fill a vacancy in the high council (namely Grand Master)?

also does anyone know of the last known location of Darth Nihilus' holocron or mask? the wook was unclear.

Luke never loses his RotJ lightsaber as far as I know, but he may give it to Leia or *spoiler* if they need it more than him (though he ends up making Leia a lightsaber which is destroyed because she's careless, and se receives an ancient one that she destroys, yet again, and *spoiler* ends up getting *even bigger spoiler*)

If a spot is vacant on the Jedi Council, the other members will award a deserving Master the seat (pretty simple really)

3.
Nihilus was killed by Meetra Suric on his dreadnaught over Telos; canonically it would have been destroyed. (but now I've just checked Wookieepedia and it seems it somehow survived and not only that SOMEHOW managed to appear on Volik, so just ignore what I said)
As for his holocron, it was in the possession of the Krayt's One Sith

new jedi order. i ask about the mask and holocron because they factor into the diabolical machinations of the main antagonist. i really dont want to give that part away tho because it was the primary inspiration.
