So I just got my ultrasaber today and its sweet.
I want to use the Obsidian Launcher to change some of the sounds and volume but...how?
Do I need to take apart the saber?
I only got the charger with it and nothing else.
Usb cable?

So I found this video which seems pretty easy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_syQVAHGCYA

But when opening up the saber (mine is a Guardian) do I just need to use the little alankey and put it in the bottom slot and then unscrew it and pull it down and out?

Unscrew the pommel and take out the battery pack (you may have to nudge quite a bit since it's a tight fit); the board is attached to it and connect accordingly as seen in the video with USB cable.

You've circled the covertec wheel which is used for hooking the saber to your belt if you have a clip.

The pommel is the bottom part of the saber. In the pic above, it's the black part with the silver knobbly bits on it above where you've circled. Smiley

BTW, and this is very important, before attempting to change out the fonts, charge the batteries first.  Always make certain your batteries are fully charged before doing any font changes.

If you have a PS3, the micro USB cable for the controller should do nicely.

Are the batteries not charged full enough out of the box? My Graflex CE arrived this afternoon and I was about to dnld the program for adding & adjusting fonts. The battery info in the box said to let the batteries fully die before the first charge.

Obviously they can't be fully charged because of the shipping time Wink But when connecting it to the PC right after unboxing, the batteries should be full enough for configuring it Smiley But I recommend charging them first so that you have enough time for playing around with settings etc. ^^

OK. That was something I was concerned about. I've had the saber since Sat. & I've messing around with the sounds. I'll put the batts on the charger then. Thanx for the info.
